With these three pillars the VANSTEPH studio supports a more resourceful lifestyle and a stylish eco-friendly attitude. Our customers actively live a new sense of cool eco-friendly fashion while wearing customized and re-loved vintage designs.

Why? Because our planet is crying for help!

Climate Change, Resource Depletion, Chemical Pollution or Water Shortage. We need to face the big ecological challenges of our time. The fashion industry is responsible for around 10% of global carbon dioxide emissions and produces 20% of the global plastics waste.
The strongest part of more sustainable fashion is longevity paired with quality. The more we re-use fashion designs we have at hand, the better it is for our environmental impact. Quality over Quantity, Upcycling over Downcycling. If we can establish these principles, we can make a big step towards a more sustainable fashion impact individually.

How can we contribute?

The best thing we can do is to extend the lifetime of our own fashion wardrobe and accessories of all kind. Instead of throwing things away as soon as they have a tear or a stain, we could get them repaired or re-loved first. By doing so, we reduce the demand for new resources, for high-energy production processes and carbon emissions-intensive logistics.
The United Nations declared Responsible Consumption and Production, Climate Change and Biodiversity as three key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This is where we can start to participate in reaching these goals for sustainable development and to improve your fashion-wise ecological impact.
